Support for Android and iOS devices
Android devices
Most modern Android smartphones are already equipped with NFC technology. If you have an Android phone, just check if the NFC feature is turned on. Common brands that support NFC include:
- Samsung (models Galaxy S3 and above)
- Google Pixel (all models)
- Huawei, Xiaomi, OnePlus and many others.
If you have an Android phone and don’t know if it has NFC support, you can check in Settings (under Connections or Wireless).
iOS devices
All iPhone models from iPhone 7 and up support NFC technology. iPhone XS models and above allow NFC automatically without any additional setup – just insert your Fulpio device and your digital profile will be displayed.
For older models such as iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and iPhone X, you need to use an app to load NFC. However, newer models support this feature directly in the system, ensuring smooth and instant sharing of information.
Support for other devices
NFC readers are in most cases only available on mobile devices (phones and tablets) and not on laptops or desktops. However, you can use a simple URL link that is generated for each profile to access your Fulpio digital business card on your computer. You set this URL link in the app.
How do you check if your device has NFC?
- Android – Open your phone’s settings and search for NFC or Connections. If you find the option to activate NFC, your device is compatible with NFC business cards.
- iOS (iPhone) – If you have an iPhone 7 or later, you have access to NFC. iPhones XS and above don’t require any additional settings or an app – NFC is always active.
What if the person I meet doesn’t have NFC?
Even if the other person’s device doesn’t support NFC, you don’t have to worry. Each Fulpio digital profile also has its own URL link, which you can easily send via SMS, email or QR code so people can access your information.
